The objective of the ESD S20.20:2021 (Electrostatic Discharge Control Program Standard) course conducted by VINTECOM International is to help organizations and enterprises manufacturing electronic equipment establish and maintain an anti-static control management system that meets the requirements of the ESD Association's standard on Developing an ESD S20.20 Electrostatic Discharge Control Program, including control plans, product quality assessment and verification of the electrostatic control program (ESD Control Program) according to international standards qualified for the electronic component supply chain including:
➡️ Main objectives of the course:
🔹 Understand and apply the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2021 standard:
🔹 Provide an overview of the latest requirements in the 2021 version of the standard.
🔹 Clearly explain the concepts related to static electricity and the harmful effects of ESD on sensitive electronic components (ESDS - Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices).
🔹 Interpret the requirements of the anti-static management system in the production environment
🔹 Develop an ESD control plan program, evaluate product quality and verify compliance with the approved control plan.
🔹 Guide how to establish electrostatic protection requirements, including: grounding/equipotential bonding, ESD control items such as wrist straps, floors, chairs, ionizers, ESD protective packaging... according to the technical requirements in Tables 1, 2, 3, 4 in the ESD S20.20 standard
🔹 Design a safe and standard EPA (Electrostatic Protected Area).
