The term "sudden incident" is now used as a substitute for the term "accident"
Even human behavior, capabilities and other human elements are the factors that may bring risks need to identify, control of identifying and assessing risk and ultimately the competence , training and awareness
A new requirement is introduced for the control who keep important role as part of OHS plan
Change Management is offered a thorough
A new provision "Evaluation of compliance" has been launched, corresponding to ISO 14001
The new requirements are offered for the participation and consultation
The new requirements are introduced for the investigation of the situations that may occur
Today, OHSAS 18001 is referred as a standard, is not technical criteria, or documents as previous versions. This suggests that OHSAS 18001 has been accepted as the basis for national standards on occupational health and safety management systems.
The new definitions are added, including key issues such as "situations may occur", "risk", "risk assessment", and modify the existing definitions.
The term "risk can be overcome" is replaced by the term "acceptable risk"
The definition of the term 'hazard' no mention 'property damage or environmental damage at workplace "anymore. Now to be considered as "damage" is not directly to the management of health and occupational safety, which is also the purpose of OHSAS standard, and that includes asset management.
