CQI Course, CQI 11, CQI 12 and CQI 9 Training Course at Henry Technology Vietnam Company ensures continuous improvement of component quality in the automotive industry in the global supply chain issued by the Automotive Industry Action Group AIAG.

CQI Course, CQI Training Course ensures continuous improvement of component quality in the automotive industry in the global supply chain issued by the AIAG Automotive Industry Action Group.
With the continued growth of the global automotive industry, the challenges of managing the scope, scale, and complexity of the automotive supply chain are increasingly evident in the quest for continuous improvement in quality, safety, and the environment. AIAG’s material quality management initiatives, component quality management, and CQI improvement tools are far-reaching and can have a significant impact on supply chain performance – whether the goal is to improve quality, reduce shipping damage, increase the speed of production of parts in an international supply chain, or provide accurate reliability in the supply system. AIAG’s Supply Chain Management initiatives provide guidance, training, and CQI education to understand and manage the complexity and scope of quality issues in the supply chain. All CQI processes at each organization and supplier manufacturing site must be assessed annually (at all levels), using the AIAG “Special Processes.” Assessments are also required after any major process and/or plant changes such as equipment or plant. The organization must also consider conducting CQI specific assessments (less than 12 months) that include the following applicable standards:
+ Heat Treating – CQI-9 Special Process: Heat Treat System Assessment
+ Plating – CQI-11 Special Process: Plating System Assessment
+ Coating – CQI-12 Special Process: Coating System Assessment
+ Welding – CQI-15 Special Process: Welding System Assessment
+ Soldering – CQI-17 Special Process: Soldering System Assessment
+ Molding – CQI-23: Special Process: Molding System Assessment
Currently, some markets and world automobile assembly manufacturers such as Ford, GM or FCA require special additions to the requirements of CQI-AIAG to ensure that manufacturers and suppliers of automotive components in the supply chain must comply with the necessary capacity conditions before being approved by customers before the production system is accepted for mass production.
The main purpose of the AIAG CQI-xx (Automotive Industry Action Group - Continuous Quality Improvement) standard is to ensure continuous improvement and maintain quality in the automotive supply chain. CQI focuses on standardizing and improving production processes, especially for suppliers of parts and components for the automotive industry. Specifically, the purpose of the AIAG CQI-xx standard is:
1. Improve product quality: Ensure products are manufactured with high quality, meeting the standards required by major car manufacturers.
2. Minimize manufacturing errors: Helps businesses identify, analyze and correct potential manufacturing errors, thereby minimizing risks.
3. Increase consistency in the manufacturing process: Ensure that manufacturing processes are performed in a synchronized and consistent manner, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing variation in product quality.
4. Meet customer requirements: CQI standards are often required by leading automotive manufacturers, so compliance will help suppliers meet strict customer requirements.
5. Require continuous improvement: This standard not only focuses on compliance but also requires businesses to continuously look for opportunities to improve quality and manufacturing processes to meet manufacturing process standards.
Currently, VINTECOM International provides CQI 9, CQI 11 and CQI 12 continuous improvement training courses for Henrry Technology Vietnam Company and many auto parts manufacturing companies at different production stages such as Welding, Metal Casting, Plating, Coating, Heat Treatment..... in the global auto parts chain. VINTECOM continuously updates and provides the latest versions of AIAG, VDA QMC standards and standards of automobile associations/manufacturers such as: AWS D8.1M, JIS Z 3140, ASTM B633, SAE J406, ASTM A255, ASTM E18..... to support the development and update of the latest standards for customers and auto parts manufacturers that meet the requirements and are qualified to be assessed and approved for capacity to participate in the global auto parts chain. Currently, to participate in the AIAG CQI-xx course conducted by VINTECOM International, students should be considered for selection from the departments of Production Management, Quality QA/QC, Engineering, Product Design and Development Research APQP, TPM Maintenance,... to ensure the capacity to meet the requirements of qualifications and professional experience, especially having good knowledge of applying automotive QMS tools such as:
+ SPC (Statistical Process Control) Process control using statistical techniques. + Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
+ Part Approval - Part Approval
+ FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) - Failure Mode and Effect Analysis
+ AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) - Advanced Quality Planning
+ PCP (Process Control Plan) - Process Control Plan
+ Industry technical standards and tools for analyzing automotive QMS systems such as: ESD S20.20, PSCR, RCA analysis ...
In this CQI course, students will understand the requirements, practice situations and evaluate based on the requirements of the CQI standard. Special Process System Assessment as a foundation to ensure control of these special processes and provide quality parts and materials that meet customer requirements in the global automotive supply chain.
